Whittington Health NHS Trust have a reputation for delivering excellent care and the hospital is renowned as one of the safest in England. They received a ‘Good’ overall rating from CQC in our inspection and were awarded ‘Outstanding’ for caring – of the 27 Trusts in London, only eight were given this coveted rating.

Maternity care at Whittington Health is tailored to your individual choices and needs. Depending on the pregnancy, you can choose to have your baby at home with the full support of our midwives, in their birth centre, or with additional support from our doctors and midwives on the labour ward at the Whittington hospital in Archway. The birth centre has four birthing pools and the labour ward has two pools and telemetry to encourage normality. The unit is undergoing upgrades to ensure a smart environment in which women can feel relaxed.
